What types of electronics can I donate for repair?
We accept anything from toys to toasters, laptops to TVs. Whatever it is, we will almost definitely take it.
What happens to these electronics?
Devices which make a full recovery will be sold, donated, or otherwise rehomed. The unfortunates who do not recover are disassembled for parts and carefully recycled.
Why does the website keep saying “we” if only one person is running it?
I-We hope to eventually expand the business to include more people, and going through to re-do the website seemed like a lot of work.
Why did you pick such a weird name for the business?
2nd Life Electrics accurately describes what we want the business to be about, giving electronics a second chance. (Also it can be abbreviated to 2LE or “tool,” and that was an opportunity which can’t be passed up!)
